Maybe it’s just me, but I seriously doubt it. Have you ever found someone in your life, who just comes and goes and at first you don’t think too much about it, but then slowly realize that there might be a reason for it? I knew he was in my life for a reason. He was special. He was different from everyone else and that’s what drew me to him. He was a great friend, even though we may not have been by each other all the time like some friends are. I began to love him. It was easy. He was a big teddy bear. He was protective. He never would have let anything happen to me, ever. I know that. He could break you, but only if you deserved it. Otherwise, like I said, he’s the sweetest guy you’ll ever meet. And I love him for that. But over the years, things changed. Slowly, but they did. He fell for me. Hard. And there is a part of me who will always want to be with him and have him in my life because I know I would be happy. But at the same time, every time I tried getting closer, there was the other part of me who would push him away or be very hesitant. It just didn’t feel completely right. And I don’t know if that’s because me and him just aren’t meant to be together or if it’s just me. And my crazy stupid fucked up mentality and heart at this point who won’t let a good guy in, but regardless, I can’t fall IN love with him. I’ve tried. I’ve tried really hard. And he never deserved the pain I put him through. And I wish I could take it all back because all of my intentions were good… And then his fucking rude ass friends had to get involved and tear me down and call me things and blame things on me as if I wanted this to happen. Not true and fuck you for ever feeling like you know me well enough to make that kind of assumption. They know him and they know his hurt. They do not know me and my full relationship with him. But they’ve ruined everything. And now I’m done. I’ve walked away from one person who means very much to me. And it absolutely sucks.
